Soccer Evaluations!

Ethan had his soccer evaluations: 7 pm - 8 pm. 96 degrees, very sunny, VERY humid. He was awesome! Me at that age, I would have taken one look at that place hid behind my mom's leg and cried my eyes out until she said I didn't have to do it if I didn't want to and then cried all the way home because I didn't get to try out. Ethan - so not like me. (Thank goodness)
He approached this like he does almost everything. With a smile on his face, a twinkle in his eye, charm in his manner and confidence in his step. I am so proud of him. He tried his best, cracked some jokes, had a blast and did just wonderful. Here are a few pictures but I'm afraid they are not very clear. Mark warned me to NOT bring the camera and be one of those moms. So I hid. Far away, behind a tree and zoomed in. HA!

The LINE.

Last minute advice from Dad.
Deep thought. Actually listening to directions!
Here he goes!
Now what?
Looks like he's got it!
The evaluation form!!!! How did he do????
Ethan and Daddy looking over the form before they turn it back in. (I love this picture)

HOT, we had a day like that monday!! What is the evaluation for? I didn't know if it was from a soccer camp or clinic or if was to try out for a team.

It was really a try out but since everyone makes a team they just call them evaluations. It's so one team doesn't end up with all the experienced players and another team end up with all beginners. They try to mix em up. :)

That is great they try to mix them up they did that at Brittney's basketball camp and it made the games so much better because there was no dominant power.
