New Friends

Alex met a boy in his gymnastic class that he really seemed to get along well with. Turns out he is also homeschooled - AND he happens to be friends with Alex's old homeschooling buddy from Georgia! How neat is that?! Anyway Mark chatted with Max's mom at gymnastics and suggested I give her a call. I am so glad I did. We were invited out to their house yesterday and instantly felt at ease with the whole family. They are wonderful people! Alex discovered that he not only liked Max but his brother and sisters too. Ethan had a wonderful time with Max's little sister, Zac made himself right at home and did a little artwork and I really enjoyed watching and listening to the kids and Max's mom, Mindy, was wonderful to talk with. Lot's of fun, lots of inspiration - just really nice! So, we all made some new friends yesterday. The boys and I are hoping that we can get together quite often from now on. Gee, I hope she is not posting on her blog somewhere about what horrible houseguests she had yesterday and is thankful she has caller ID. That would totally be my luck. LOL!
