Our dog is an idiot - completely nuts around the cat. He sniffs and bugs her non-stop. Kitty HATES dog and I can see why. Dog is very jealous and destroyed our blinds trying to get at the cat and then in his excitement he peed everywhere. Mental note - dog must go!
Headache, sick cat, crazy, wild, destructive dog AND Mark just called..... a rock the size of a baseball shattered the window of our newish truck. Mark is fine, thank the good Lord above. Also trying to pack for our 3 week trip to Illinois. That alone, is a enough to give me a headache. We leave on Thursday so I won't be able to post much from Illinois but I will try and get to the library a few times to keep in touch with all of you. :)
Good news is I tried to knit a pumpkin using 4 double pointed needles and I did it! I am SO happy! Hooray for me. Life is actually very good. We are all alive and healthy and together....I really should not ask for more. I will however simply have to knit A LOT today to bring my stress level down a bit......see there's always a bright side if you look hard enough! :)

That pumpkin is adorable!! I've been wanting my aunt to teach me how to knit. I think it would be good for my fidgety hands!

Ugh - packing! I'm getting ready for a trip to MI - just a week to see new nieces - and I can feel ear infections coming on - that's how my body reacts to stress - had two of them last time we went to MI too! It isn't the trip or the drive that stresses me out, it is the packing!
Cute pumpkin it's so fallish looking I love it. I don't know how to knit although I've been thinking I should learn how. I do know how to make quilts though and that is what I do to unwind sometimes. Although it's been about a year since I last touched a quilt. Maybe I'll have to do that more this winter. Have a good trip to Illinois. Do you have family that lives there?
I care if packing stresses you out or not....get your shit together and get to Illinois!!!!! HaHa!!! See you soon!
