Yes, I'm Alive!

I've not been my usual blogging self lately. I'm spending much more time off the computer it seems. Knitting as much as I can but also spending more real time with the boys. I found some REALLY nice yarn and some cool patterns so I'm having a ball with that.....hey...ball... ball of yarn get it!!?? Ok, so enough of that.....
Mark leaves us tomorrow to head back to Illinois. His aunt passed away quite suddenly and he's going up for that. The boys and I are going to stay at home this time.....it seemed like the best choice right now. Mark will drive up and right back home the next day which is A LOT on the boys and there will be very little chance for "fun" visiting with relatives plus there's also the problem of finding someone to watch the dog on such short notice.
This weekend we are all going down to my brother's house in Georgia. We will watch Greg play in one of his soccer games and then spend the rest of the day and night with my brother and his family before hitting Atlanta shopping the next day and heading home. Ethan just cannot wait to see a REAL soccer game.
Oh, I thought this was so funny - We were at the grocery store and I usually let the boys pick out all the fruits and veggies they want to eat that week - anyway, Ethan begs me for corn on the cob. Take a look at the picture below and tell me how that kid is going to eat corn on the cob!
Here we are visiting Grandpa George and Grammy Beckie when we were in Illinois.
Chicago.
The Field Museum.
Alex's favorite thing next to Star Wars - Mummies!!!!
Zac had had enough!
Zacy all ready for autumn.
Mark and I. See what a good looking couple we are!
Me and my boys and the way home. Metropolis, Illinois.

All my favorite guys.

Sorry to hear about your husband's aunt. So is he from the same town you are???

Love the toothless pics. I imagine eating corn on the cob is a bit of a challenge!!

I want to take the boys to the field museum. Last time I was there, we didn't have kids yet!

Sorry about your husband's aunt. Sudden is never easy, not that any of it is but no warning even worse.
