Today

Today Ethan has almost reached his personal goal of making 5 hats for the homeless! I'm so proud of him. Our homeschool group has been wonderful about helping too. Check out our friend Maddie's blog and see the hats they have made for Ethan's charity. They had a very cool , thrifty and time saving idea of making their hats from recycled sweaters! We will be having a little get together next weekend with everyone that has contributed. I'll have to post some pictures then. :)

In other news Mark and I had our very awesome babysitter Claire....who just so happens to be Maddie's daughter watch the boys while we finished our Christmas shopping. What fun Mark and I had shopping just the two of us....we actually got to hold each other's hand instead of a child's. :-)I love my boys dearly but it was a nice break. Also, awesome Claire helped me figure out and fix all my latest knitting problems. There is no end to what that girl can do with yarn! Thank you Claire!!!
It was a great day. :-) Tonight however, looks like it will be a long one. When we left Zac this afternoon he was sniffling a bit. Now he's coughing and waking himself up over and over again. Looks like I may spend most of the night sitting up holding him in the rocking chair so he can sleep a bit better. Poor little guy.

Yeah for Ethan. That is so cool that everyone is pitching in for that. What a sweet boy you have there :). I can't wait to see pics!

Glad you got to go out without the kids. I understand how you feel :)... Now can you teach me to knit? LOL.

I hope Zac feels better soon. My boys (than I did) had the sniffles and the cough as well. It didn't seem to bother them as much as it did me though when I got it *sigh*. I hope he sleeps better soon!

I'm glad your afternoon out went well. As I said before, the boys were great. They didn't argue with each other or anything of the sort. I hope I was able to get your knitting issues figured out.

Claire.
